Tuition Assistance Update

The University of Iowa Staff Council is working on a request to increase funding for the University of Iowa’s Tuition Assistance Program administered by University Human Resources. The Tuition Assistance Program is a valuable resource for University employees seeking to continue their education either at the University of Iowa or another institution. Currently, the program is underfunded to meet the demand of eligible staff and faculty. Read more....

 

Staff Can Get Involved!

MLK Day of Service

Join other UI staff, faculty and students, and Iowa City community members for a Day of Service in Celebration of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. on Monday, January 20, 2020. The MLK Day of Service will include service projects from 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM at various locations. Volunteer opportunities are still available; please sign up here.   After serving, participants will enjoy a celebratory program at Mercer Park Gym, including entertainment performances, a keynote speaker, and free lunch! The event will conclude by 2:00 PM. Parking is available on site. Individuals of all ages are welcome and encouraged to attend.

The Mary Jo Small Staff Fellowship is an award that University of Iowa staff members may use to help defray costs associated with regional, national, or international meetings or workshops, as well as a variety of other non-academic professional development opportunities on and off-campus.
