Welcome (back) students! With Orientation underway, we want to tell you a little about our communication plans for fall. Our returning students know that sometimes inboxes overflow around Iowa Law. We've been working throughout the spring and summer to improve the ways we share information. Here's how you can expect to hear from us.
Schedule
- Monday morning, you'll receive an @ Iowa Law e-mail. This e-mail will include news you need for the week ahead, including details for upcoming programs, deadlines, and reminders.
- Wednesday mid-day, you'll receive the Career Services Newsletter. This e-mail is dedicated to Career Services news. It'll highlight important deadlines and new opportunities.
- Friday afternoon, we'll send you into the weekend with an @ Iowa Law e-mail. We'll use this e-mail for deadlines, news, updates and reminders. We'll also set aside space for some gratitude, if you'd like to give a shout out to a member of our community (student, faculty, or staff).

Other ways to promote your programs and share community news
Student Town Halls
We've scheduled one all student town hall session per month. We will record each meeting and save in Panopto's Special Presentations folder. Town Halls are a way to bring our community together, give us a chance to provide updates and address concerns. The August 6th - Town Hall with Dean Washburn addressed a lot of questions about space, exams, and what to expect this fall.
