University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics is seeking applicants for the position of Associate Chief Quality Officer (ACQO) for Ambulatory Services with an expected start date of no later than July 1, 2021.  The ACQO for Ambulatory Services will oversee all outpatient quality and safety initiatives for University of Iowa Health Care. The ACQO will assist the Chief Quality Officer (CQO) in leading the conception, development, and measurement of University of Iowa Health Care’s strategy for quality, safety, and adverse event reduction. The ACQO will provide leadership for performance improvement initiatives in clinical quality and patient safety to ensure that UI Healthcare achieves excellent outcomes. The ACQO reports directly to the Chief Quality Officer.
