Join Us for an Anniversary Event

The OTLT Center for Teaching invites you to a virtual 25th anniversary celebration from 9:30 to 11 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 13, 2022. Randy Bass, vice president for Strategic Education Initiatives and professor of English at Georgetown University, will present the keynote What’s the Problem Now? The Future of Teaching and Learning.”

Check out our tech training sessions and be on the lookout for upcoming OTLT Center for Teaching workshops, including Mitigating Student Resistance to Active Learning, Human Ways of Learning, and Addressing Instructor and Student Burnout

Course Design Institute for Graduate Students & Postdocs 

This two-part workshop will help attendees design components for a new or revised course, including a syllabus, assessment strategies, and learning activities. Participants may attend one or both sessions. 

Building a Learning-Centered Syllabus will be held asynchronously via ICON from Monday, Dec. 20, to Friday, Jan. 14Creating a Plan for Your Course will be held from noon to 4 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 11, and Wednesday, Jan. 12, in the Main Library; lunch provided.     

Respondus Monitor Availability

As of Wednesday, Dec. 29, 2021, Respondus Monitor will no longer be available as a remote proctoring solution.

Respondus LockDown Browser and the quiz authoring tool, Respondus 4.0, will continue to be offered.
