Diploma Delivery Address
Your diploma will be sent to the Diploma Delivery Address you provide on your degree application on MyUI, 6 - 8 weeks after the end of the session. It is extremely important for students to provide a correct diploma delivery address as Diploma Services staff are currently working remotely and may not be at the workplace to receive returned diplomas if not deliverable or to reissue a diploma if lost. Please confirm and/or edit your Diploma Delivery Address in MyUI no later than December 11, 2020.
Diploma Delivery Method
Please verify your Diploma Delivery Method on your Application for Degree in MyUI. Any changes to delivery information must be made by December 11, 2020.
- FedEx - Recommended for International diploma delivery with a tracking number. Fed Ex will send you an email with a tracking number once the diploma is in their possession.
Domestic U.S. Addresses
- Mail - USPS First Class Mail works well for domestic delivery. Once printed diplomas are taken directly to the Post Office to be dispatched. There is no tracking number with USPS First Class bulk mail..
If you require FedEx delivery to your U.S. address, please contact Diploma Services at firstname.lastname@example.org. A $15 domestic FedEx fee will be charged to your U-Bill. FedEx delivery will not speed up the delivery to a U.S. address due to the amount of time required to prepare each diploma individually for delivery. FedEx delivery is not an option for local delivery to the Iowa City/Coralville area.
Student Pick-up will not be an option for diploma delivery for December 2020 graduates, as Diploma Services staff are working remotely and will not routinely be on campus to facilitate the Student Pick-up process.
To learn more about your diploma and delivery options go to the Diploma web page. Please review the information found at: International Students - Diploma Delivery or at Domestic Diploma Delivery.
Diplomas will not be released to students with past due balances on their U-Bill.
Questions regarding your diploma should be sent to email@example.com.
