The Honors Program is collecting submissions for a final reflective video highlighting student experiences and stories during the pandemic. Submit videos and or pictures of your pandemic reflections by clicking the button below!

Share Your Honors Experience!

In conjunction with the 2nd Annual Climate Survey, Honors wants to interview you about your experiences within the Program. These interviews will 20 minutes, and you can either talk to Addison (Honor Assessment Manager) on Tuesdays, 9 AM – 11 AM and Wednesdays 9 AM – 12 AM; 2 PM – 4.30 PM, or to Alyssa (Higher Education and Student Affairs Graduate Student) on Tuesdays 9 AM – 12.30 AM, Wednesdays 12 AM – 4.30 PM and Fridays 9 AM – 4.30 PM.

Spots Still Available! In Fall 2021, Dr. Emily Hill will teach her 2 s.h. class HONR:2600:0001 High Ability College Students and Wellness. There will be a focus on mental health, impostor syndrome, existential depression, and the intersectionality of high ability, mental health, gender, spirituality, and race. Share Your Pandemic Reflections

This past year has been challenging and interesting, and we want to highlight honors students in a reflection video about honors in the pandemic. Upload a video or picture of yourself from this past year and share with us your experiences, stories, and the lessons you’ve learned! You can submit your contribution HERE.

Apply for the Latham Fellowship

The Latham Fellowship is an opportunity for undergraduate student researchers to develop real-world project design and implementation process skills. Students selected for the Latham Fellows program will complete two courses, design and implement individual and group outreach projects, and participate in a year-end event that will highlight their achievements. Honors Summer 2021 Project

Honors has developed the summer 2021 introspective assignment to resource and reward you for staying intellectually engaged with your professional and academic goals. You can earn up to 3 honors credits in experiential learning. The pre-experience questionnaire must be completed by June 1, and the post-experience questionnaire and project submission will be due by September 1.

Join the ULC on April 30th at 7PM for a conversation with the 2020-2021 Distinguished Lecturer: Noam Chomsky. Chomsky’s work is widely credited with having revolutionized the field of modern linguistics. Join the event here, and log in a bit early to avoid issues with the livestream.
