As we are wrapping up our 2021 IBA/LSAMP Summer Program we recognize that no only do we have amazing students but also amazing mentors.  Thank you for everything that you do for our students!!!

End of the Summer Picnic

We had asked our students to invite you to our end of the summer picnic, and some of them may have forgotten.  I apologize for not realizing that sooner. 

But, if you are in town and have some free time on Saturday - we would love to have you drop by for a few minutes or as long as you’d like.  We will be serving Pop’s BBQ and playing some outdoor games (crochet, volleyball – maybe horseshoes).  

Location and Parking

City Park, Shelter #11 (Iowa City) For a map of the shelter location click here.  The closest parking would either be by the volleyball courts or continue driving until the very last parking lot (in front of the horseshoe courts.)

Poster Presentations

Most of our students registered to present their research at the Summer Undergraduate Poster Symposium.

If your student has not submitted their poster for printing please encourage them to do so by the end of the day Friday.  If you or your student needs funding acknowledgements, logos or other poster information please see our web resource page Poster Presentation Information.
