Wilmot, II, an undergraduate student studying computer science and engineering, has been awarded the Department of Defense Science, Mathematics, and Research for Transformation Scholarship. This prestigious award provides students with full tuition for up to five years, summer internships, a stipend, and full-time employment with the Department of Defense after graduation. ISE PhD student to participate in National School on Neutron and X-ray Scattering

Levi Kirby, a PhD student in the Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering, has been selected as one of 60 participants for the highly competitive 2021 National School on Neutron and X-ray Scattering to be held virtually from Oak Ridge National Laboratory and Argonne National Laboratory. By attending the NX School, Kirby will learn the use of major neutron and x-ray facilities at the national labs for his PhD research. Read more

Two University of Iowa students have been named 2021 Goldwater scholars. Jack Lynn is a biomedical engineering major from Bettendorf, Iowa, whose area of research is computational biochemistry, specifically RNA biomolecular simulation. Read more.
