The semester is flying! The home stretch is near, which means commencement is coming. CLAS ceremonies will take place at 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. on Saturday, May 11. About 30-40 volunteers are needed for each ceremony to run smoothly. Be on the lookout for opportunities to sign up to help at commencement soon! 

CLAS Staff Council is hosting a donation drive for the Domestic Violence Intervention Program now through April 18. Items needed include diapers, pull-ups, women's clothing, and personal products. Check out a list of needs and drop-off locations.

Meliza Wise, a senior business intelligence analyst in the college, took first place in the University of Iowa portion of the Big Ten Academic Alliance Data Viz Championship, which allowed her to compete alongside other Big Ten staff and faculty members.

The event will start with a reading, followed by a discussion led by Corey Creekmur, associate professor in the departments of Cinematic Arts and English.
