August 2025 Hydrostation Report

Hydrostation Partners and Hosts, 

Please see the August hydrostation report below. 

Last month, we visited Loran and Brenda Steinlage’s farm near West Union for a field day (see above image) that brought together conservation-minded partners from over 10 states, along with farmers from Ukraine. During the event, we highlighted how data from the hydrostation are being used not only to improve flood forecasting, but also in research to measure the flood-reduction benefits of relay cropping practices on Loran’s farm.
