Dear colleagues,
As you may be aware, funding appropriations expired at midnight on Sept. 30 and a federal shutdown went into effect at 12:01 this morning.
Our team is monitoring the situation closely. As of right now:
- Investigators may continue to spend on active, federally funded awards during the shutdown.
- Program officers are generally unable to schedule meetings or respond to questions about grant programs.
- DSP will continue to submit proposals to federal sponsors to the extent proposal submission systems are operable.
- There may be delays in proposal reviews and/or award announcements.
