Wang receives $1.7M NIH research grant

Mathematics assistant professor Yangyang Wang says the award, through the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and the National Institute of Drug Abuse (NIDA), will support research that may help inform opioid use disorder.

Khmelnik earns staff award

Sasha Khmelnik, administrator for the Iowa Writers' Workshop, is one of six university employees to receive the 2022 Outstanding Staff Award. Khmelnik will be honored by the Office of the President during a faculty and staff awards celebration in October.

Voxman Music Building 
Enjoy the sounds of piano, electronics, and a water clock. This unique performance is being done in partnership with Hydroscience and Engineering. It is free and open to all.
