Goals of the PD:
- Prepare coaches and mentors for an upcoming FTC Season.
- Connect coaches and mentors with each other, future connections for future questions or issues.
- Educate attendees about recent or new changes within FTC.
- Expand the knowledge base of attendees. Help attendees think outside of the box of what they normally would have considered.
- Have participants go through a mini-season within a team: a build season; a "tournament" with a judging interview, matches and an alliance selection.
- Share the expectations FTC-Iowa has for coaches and mentors.
- To be as interactive as possible. Lots of small group activities. Less presentations.

| | | Upcoming event: CelebrAsian Robotics Competition | In partnership with Team #19415 - C3 Robotics, Team #18397 - Aztechs, and celebrAsian - annual Asian Heritage Festival, teams are invited to participate in The CelebrAsian Robotics competition and Outreach.
This is an in-person FREIGHT FRENZY Off-Season Event
- Date: Saturday, May 28, 2022
- Event Schedule 11am - 7pm, with the competition matches occurring at 1:30pm-4:30pm
- Capacity: 8 teams
- Location: Western Gateway Park, Des Moines Iowa
- Participation fee: $50 deposit which will be returned after the event.

| | | Upcoming event: Fiesta Scrimmage | Teams are invited to join Team #18369 Tacobotics for an off-season scrimmage.
- Who: All teams are invited, the more teams, the better
- When: June 25th, with doors opening at 1:00pm
- Where: Marion County Extension Office, 210 N Iowa St, Knoxville, IA 50138
- Details: The will be on an oversized field using three team alliances, and using modified rules! The event will include qualification matches, and potentially sign up we will have alliance selection and elimination matches.
