Nine Iowa faculty members have been awarded Arts and Humanities Initiative grants from the Office of the Vice President for Research. - Recognize teaching assistants: The Outstanding Teaching Assistant Award recognizes up to 30 teaching assistants for their work at the university. Nominations are due by Wednesday, Feb. 25, and awardees will be celebrated in April.
- Register to attend 1stGen@Iowa Awards and Recognition Ceremony: The ceremony, which takes place at 3 p.m. Thursday, March 5, in the Iowa Memorial Union, celebrates the achievements of first-generation students and recognizes faculty and staff who have provided outstanding support. Register to attend by Tuesday, Feb. 24.
