College of Dentistry and Dental Clinics

Dean's Message

As we lean further into the semester, things may begin to feel hectic and overwhelming, you may feel like you're on ice skates. Remember to breathe deeply and take it one step at a time. Try focusing on things you can control and let go of what you can't. Break tasks into smaller pieces, prioritize them, and stay positive. Ask for help if needed because no matter your role in our college, you have support from fellow Hawkeyes. ~Clark Stanford

Meet Wendy Vincent, Support Services Specialist

I grew up in Iowa City and had spent my whole life here. My husband Doug and I have three adult boys and we recently moved back to the area after living a few years in Florida. I bring a wealth of knowledge to my new role as I’ve known some of you from my time spent in Pediatric Dentistry and Periodontics here at the Dental Science Building. I worked privately in a local Oral Surgery office before joining Patient Financial Services at UIHC prior to leaving for Florida. I did fulfill a dream of becoming a Cast Member at the Walt Disney Company in customer service when we relocated there. In my spare time I enjoy time with my family, especially our granddaughter the Violet Wendy!
