Veteran and Military Community at IOWA

A note from IVETS

Spring is here! After a challenging winter, I hope you take the opportunity to enjoy some sunshine and take a well-deserved break from your studies. Hang out in the IVETS lounge (capacity: 14) or drop into a UIVA meeting. Or, learn something new: attend the inaugural Veteran Innovation Series lecture with molecular biologist, Operation Iraqi Freedom Veteran, and Army Reservist Dr. Trill Paullin on March 24th. If you are a graduate or professional student, apply to become a Veteran Innovation Series speaker yourself! Details for all of these opportunities are below. We’re working hard to continue to offer you a range of programs with virtual and safe in-person options. Have an idea for a future program? Let us know what you need!

  • Job and internship search assistance
  • Interview tips
