NIH recently announced that, beginning in fiscal year 2026, the agency will no longer post Notices of Funding Opportunities in the NIH Guide (NIH Notice NOT-OD-25-143) . 

UI researchers, faculty and research administrators can utilize Pivot to explore new avenues for funding, view funding opportunities uniquely matched to their scholar profile, collaborate with colleagues, and build a funding strategy that supports both immediate and long-term funding needs.

Maximizing Pivot to Find Funding and Collaborators

The OVPR Research Development Office regularly conducts training sessions for users to learn how Pivot can save time and effort in identifying the right funding opportunities for their research as well as identifying collaborators with relevant expertise.
