This month, watershed professionals from Iowa and Wisconsin came together to share ideas focusing on public engagement to enhance watershed protection and land stewardship. The group visited sites in northeast Iowa that featured Iowa Flood Center hydrostations and stream sensors and innovative flood mitigation practices such as relay cropping and on-road structures.
