October 2025 Hydrostation Report

Hydrostation Partners and Hosts,

Please see the October hydrostation report below.

Did you know we currently have 53 hydrostations across the state? Our goal is to eventually have one in every county. We expect to receive Community Development Block Grant–Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR) funds from the June 2024 severe storms to install additional hydrostations in the counties most affected by the damage. Expanding data collection and monitoring statewide strengthens our ability to forecast floods and droughts.

Real-time hydrostation data continues to be available on the Iowa Flood Information System

All hydrostation data (current and historic) can be accessed on the historic data platformEach yellow square on the map represents a hydrostation. Click on the hydrostation of interest to view available data.
