The Primary Election is on June 7th. For information on how to vote, visit Hawk the Vote's website. To vote absentee, you must request an absentee ballot by May 23rd.

Women’s Leadership

“The University of Iowa has gained national recognition for its support of women in leadership positions across its campus. At the UI, 58 percent of academic deans are women, 36 percent of president’s cabinet members are women, and 24 percent of fully tenured professors are women, according to the study."

“The growth of minority students in Iowa colleges and universities has outpaced Iowa’s total population growth. The combined total of 39,120 represents more than a fourfold spike from 30 years ago.”
