David C. Schwebel is the University of Iowa’s vice president for research, effective July 1, 2025. Applicants for sponsored research funding are reminded to indicate Dr. Schwebel as the authorizing official on all grant and contract applications. For example, in Cayuse application packages, Dr. Schwebel should be selected for Field 19, Authorized Representative.
