This fall, renovations to Quad Green will turn the space between the College of Pharmacy Building and Hillcrest Residence Hall into a spot for students to spend time outdoors. The area will feature a pavilion with outdoor furniture, two pickleball courts, a basketball court, and new sidewalks. Plans are also in place to preserve an American hackberry tree estimated to be more than 100 years old.

- Check Cambus schedules for summer: Cambus will operate summer service May 16 through Aug. 21. There is no service on May 25 and July 3–4. During the summer, service frequency is reduced on some routes, and service after 8:45 p.m. is provided by the On-Demand Shuttle.
- Join a summer Obermann Center writing group: Obermann Writing Groups offer UI artists, scholars, and researchers working on an academic writing project a dedicated time, space, and community for the practice of writing. Apply by 5 p.m. Friday, May 22.
