The Congressionally Directed Medical Research Programs (CDMRP) anticipates the release of the Rare Cancers and Kidney Cancer Research Programs.
The Rare Cancers Research Program (RCRP) provides funding to support innovative, high-impact research with clinical relevance that will improve outcomes for people with rare cancers. Applications must address one or more of the following focus areas of biology, preclinical research model, therapy, or artificial intelligence and machine learning model. The Kidney Cancer Research Program (KCRP) supports innovative, high-impact research with clinical relevance that will accelerate progress to eliminate kidney cancer for Service Members, their Families, Veterans and the American public. Deadlines will be announced once each program officially opens.
The National Institutes of Health (NIH) continues to offer the High-End Instrumentation (HEI) Grant Program.
The objective of the HEI S10 program is to make available to institutions high-end research instruments that can only be justified on a shared-use basis and that are needed for NIH-supported projects in basic, translational, and clinical biomedical or biobehavioral research. The program provides funds to purchase or upgrade a single item of expensive, leading-edge, specialized, commercially available instrument or an integrated instrumentation system. Deadlines are June 1, 2026 and June 1, 2027. | | | Reminder Limited Submission Opportunities | | Description: Through this solicitation, NSF seeks to foster a network of S-STEM stakeholders and further develop the infrastructure needed to generate and disseminate new knowledge, successful practices and effective design principles arising from NSF S-STEM projects nationwide. The ultimate vision of the legislation governing the S-STEM parent program (and of the current S-STEM-Net solicitation) is that all Americans, regardless of economic status, should be able to contribute to the American innovation economy if they so desire.
