ARPA-H has announced the Systematic Targeting Of MicroPlastics (STOMP) program.
This initiative is aimed at developing tools to measure, study, and remove microplastics and nanoplastics in the human body. STOMP will support proposals in two main areas: measuring microplastics in the body and understanding how they affect biological systems. A third area, developing methods to remove microplastics, is planned for a later phase of the program, anticipated after the initial 24-month period. Solution summaries are required and due by May 6, 2026.
NEH has announced the Media Projects opportunity.
The NEH Media Projects program funds the development and production of film, television, radio, and digital media that bring humanities ideas to broad audiences. It supports projects that interpret history, literature, and culture in engaging, accessible ways. Applications are due by June 25, 2026. | | | New Limited Submission Opportunities | | Description: This Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) supports critical minerals and materials (CMM). To build a secure domestic supply of CMMs, the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) aims to support collaborative industry partnerships to prototype and pilot innovative processing technologies that are currently only proven at the bench scale to address CMM challenges in high impact areas. The CMM Accelerator program will advance these mid-stage innovations through validation, benchmarking, access to national lab test beds, testing in industry relevant environments, technoeconomic analysis, and life-cycle assessment.
