Now that you've completed BreatheWELL training and started practicing, I want to encourage you to make it part of your daily routine. Even just a few deep, intentional breaths can help you reset, refocus, and manage stress in the moment.
Try setting a reminder to take a mindful breath break during the workday. Here are a few simple ways to incorporate it:
- Before entering a room or virtual meeting – Take a slow inhale and exhale to center yourself.
- While washing your hands or filling up your water bottle – Use this moment to slow your breathing and release tension.
- Between tasks or meetings – Pause for three deep breaths to reset your focus.

To strengthen your motivation and explore the benefits of mindful breathing, answer these questions.
- What is most important to you about managing stress at work?
- How would you like to feel at the end of your workday?
- What small step can you take today to bring more moments of calm into your workday?
✔️ Challenge for this week: Choose one moment each day to practice mindful breathing. Set a reminder on your phone or jot down on a sticky note as a cue.
