April 2025 Hydrostation Report

Hydrostation Partners and Hosts,

In addition to monitoring and predicting floods and droughts, the Iowa Flood Center's hydrostations have been used to assess the value of multi-cropping as flood-smart agriculture. Read more about this partnership with the American Flood Coalition, Iowa State University, and Northeast Iowa Resource Conservation and Development here. 

Real-time hydrostation data continues to be available on the Iowa Flood Information System. 

All hydrostation data (current and historic) can be accessed on the historic data platform. Each yellow square on the map represents a hydrostation. Click on the hydrostation of interest to view available data.

Monthly average temperature of soil surface (in Fahrenheit).
