Winter 2024 Final Grade Submission Deadline

This message is intended for MAUI users with the following roles, instructor, department executive officer (DEO), or academic department administrator (ADA). Please disregard this message if you have not been instructed by your primary instructor, course supervisor, or department to submit grades or approve grades.

Final grades for off-cycle courses ending on or before Jan. 13, and full session-length courses will be processed Thursday, Jan. 23 at 5 p.m.

To ensure a seamless process, instructors should submit grades for DEO review and approval by Wednesday, Jan. 22.

Final Grades Processing Timeline

Failure to meet this deadline not only impacts our ability to provide students with timely feedback but also poses challenges for administrative processes and can potentially delay graduation and other academic milestones for our students. Below is a brief timeline for your reference.

Off-Cycle Courses (do not span the entirety of the sesession)

• Grade lists are open for entry and submission 14 calendar days before the course end date.
• Grades are due 10 calendar days from the course end date listed in MAUI.

Full Session-Length Courses

Friday, Dec. 3

• Grade processing is paused.
• Final grade lists are open for editing.

Wednesday, Jan. 22

• Instructor deadline to submit grades to DEO for review.

Thursday, Jan. 23

• 5 p.m. - DEO approval deadline.
• 5:01 p.m. - Final grades and end-of-session processing begins.

Friday, Jan. 24

• Grades are available on official records.
• Grade point average (GPA) updates.
