The consortium brings together faculty working across departments in the areas of war, genocide, or ethnic and political violence to facilitate collaboration and exchange of knowledge.

Sociology and criminology associate professor connects city design to crime levels

James Wo studies why some places have disproportionate amounts of crime. Wo, who is a researcher affiliate at the Center for Social Science Innovation, wants to understand how the physical and social environment can be used to reduce crime.
