The Iowa Flood Center is preparing for a major expansion of its hydrostation network, with several new stations planned across southwestern Iowa in the coming months. Behind the scenes, staff are assembling new equipment, identifying deployment locations, and maintaining the existing network to ensure reliable flood monitoring and forecasting across the state.
