Dear UI Staff,

In support of an inclusive campus culture, we are pleased to announce that staff may now choose to share their pronouns with their supervisors/HR representatives in their e-Personnel file.  In addition, staff may select to share their pronouns with other UI systems (e.g., ITS Help Desk Tickets).

Visit the Employee Self Service Names and Pronouns page (under My Self Service – Personal Information) to review or update your selections.  For how-to information, see Update My Name and Pronouns at Trans@Iowa.

Please be aware: If you are a UI student and a UI employee, your MyUI and ePersonnel File in Employee Self Service (ESS) are connected and updating one will update both. The name and pronoun information you provide will be available to your instructors, advisors, and supervisors.
