Study Abroad Fair

Get your questions answered and kick start your global experience at the University of Iowa Study Abroad Fair!

Learn about semester-long, short-term, and faculty-led study abroad programs all over the world, which allow you to receive academic credit towards your degree while exploring other cultures. Whether you're interested in studying, research, or internships, you'll get the chance to talk to study abroad advisors, faculty program directors, and former student participants.

All fair attendees who register their attendance at the fair will be entered to win one of two $500 scholarships to study abroad.

Apply for Winter-Led Faculty Programs

Applications are open for these programs that could take you to Greece, the United Kingdom, India, Australia, or the Dominican Republic. Application deadlines: Sept 8 - 30

Global Access Ambassador Scholarship

Interested in being a study abroad ambassador?  This scholarship can help get you abroad, and then you can share your experiences with other Hawkeyes upon your return. Application deadlines: Sept 29th (Winter) and Oct 6th (Spring)

Funding Study Abroad Session

In this session you will learn what factors go into determining the cost of study abroad and what funding is available to you. Sept 13, 11 a.m.

Gilman Scholarship

Learn more about the Gilman Scholarship, open to U.S. citizen undergraduate students who are receiving a Federal Pell Grant. Attend one of multiple info sessions. Application closes Oct 5
