Welcome to another week of MindFALL Minutes! As we journey through the fall season together, we invite you to take a mindful pause. This week, we're continuing to focus on quick practices lasting one, five, or ten minutes to help you stay grounded.

Continue to follow your pumpkin path and choose the activities from our list that resonate with you most. These small moments of mindfulness can make a big difference as we navigate this busy season.

Take a minute to make a list of things you're grateful for. Create your list in the morning to start your day on a positive note, or at the end of the day to reflect and appreciate your experiences. Day One is a free app that allows you to digitally record your gratitude entries, keeping them secure and private! Be mindful of the snacks you choose throughout the day to support your energy and health. Taking a few extra minutes to prepare a nutritious snack will offer benefits to your mind and body.

  • Prepare snack boxes for work
  • Pair a carbohydrate with a protein or fat source for sustaining energy

In today's fast-paced world, it’s easy to find ourselves glued to digital devices. Try taking a walk without the distraction of your device. Instead, consider:

  • Observing nature
  • Reflecting on your plans or goals
  • Socializing with friends or family members (in-person!)
  • Exploring new environments

liveWELL will be hosting a short, Taste of Mindfulness session from 12:00-12:15pm on Wednesday, November 13. Register for the session to participate in a short guided meditation.
