Equity, Diversity & Inclusion (ED&I) Seminar
ED&I are concepts which are important to a successful FIRST teams. This seminar is an informational session on how everyone can incorporate ED&I on their team.
Key note speaker:
Brittany Brady is the CEO of the National Alliance for Partnerships in Equity (NAPE). NAPE is a professional alliance committed to building the capacity of education and increase student access, educational equity and workforce diversity.
Breakout sessions:
After the keynote sessions, attendees will be able to attend two of the breakout sessions. Topics include:
- Working with Neurodiverse students, lead by Angie Butler of FTC team 9974
- Creating a Gender Diverse Environment, lead by Faith Moss, FRC Mentor
- How to serve Underrepresented & Urban Students, lead by Dick Hurban of FTC team 7247
