Lead the way by encouraging your peers to attend a virtual job fair this semester!

Dear student leaders,

During these challenging times, it's natural for others to look towards their leaders for guidance and encouragement. As a leader of your student org, Greek org, or sports club, this is the perfect time to step up and ensure your members have awareness about important opportunities that could benefit their future. That's why we are reaching out to you!

The Pomerantz Career Center will be hosting a variety of virtual job and internship fairs and networking events this spring for ALL STUDENTS regardless of major or class year. These events are FREE and will take place on Handshake where every student can access thousands of job and internship opportunities that are posted everyday. Please forward this email and encourage your members to checkout the job fairs below. It's a great way to connect with employers, start your job or internship search, and learn more about career opportunities.  You will also find great resources to help you explore, prepare, experience, and achieve for these events.

If you have questions, don't hesitate to reach out to us at 319-335-1023 or email careercenter@uiowa.edu

Finesse Your Resume

Extracurricular activities help you develop valuable skills and qualities that you can spotlight to employers. When relevant and appropriate for the industry or position you are applying for, you can list these activities on your resume to emphasize your employability.
