The World Federation of the Deaf (WFD) is a global organization working to ensure equal rights for 70 million deaf people around the globe. Every year, WFD celebrates International Week of the Deaf. This year, the theme for Deaf Week is "A World Where Deaf People Everywhere Can Sign Anywhere!"
At the University of Iowa, the ASL Program proudly offers events during Deaf Week! Attend some of our events to learn more about deaf and hard of hearing experiences and how you can become allies to the Deaf community.
