This is an incredible opportunity for students to connect with employers and explore open internships and full-time positions.

• No pre-registration is required; however, view all details about the fair in Handshake including a list of employers.
• Update Your Resume - Drop-in hours are M-Th, 10 am - 3 pm, C310 Pomerantz Center or schedule an appointment on MYUI.
• Attend a Prepare for the Fair Session
  • Do's Don'ts & Donuts! Both sessions are in the lobby of the Pomerantz Career Center (C310 Pomerantz Center) - September 23 & 24 - 3:00-4:00 pm.

Study Aboard Fair

• Date: Tuesday, September 17, 2024
• Time: 11 a.m. - 3 p.m.
• Location: IMU, International Ballroom

• The Study Abroad Fair is the place to find out about the international opportunities available to you at the University of Iowa.
• Explore study abroad programs and global internships.
• Learn about scholarships and grants for international experiences.
• Connect with students who have returned from abroad, study abroad advisors, and faculty who lead programs abroad.
• Discover how going abroad fits into your major.

Volunteer at the Free Medical Clinic

The Free Medical Clinic in Iowa City is in need of Arabic, French, and Spanish speakers to volunteer as interpreters for their clients. This is an opportunity for those of you in more advanced language courses. 

Currently, they have the most need for people on Tuesdays between 9am-3pm (wouldn't need to be available this whole time), Thursdays from 9-noon, Monday evenings from 6-8:30pm and Thursday evenings from 6-8:30pm.
