NSF launches new investment to accelerate the transition of privacy-enhancing technologies to practice.

The U.S. National Science Foundation announced a new investment to advance privacy-enhancing technologies (PETs) and promote their use to solve real-world problems. The Privacy-Preserving Data Sharing in Practice (PDaSP) program, which aligns with a tasking in the recent "Executive Order on the Safe, Secure, and Trustworthy Development and Use of Artificial Intelligence" (AI EO), will enhance the ability to privately share and analyze data for a range of use cases and applications, including those of significant interest to federal agencies.

HRSA: Technology-enabled Collaborative Learning Program

Description: The purpose of this program is to improve retention of health care providers and increase access to health care services in rural areas, frontier areas, health professional shortage areas, or medically underserved areas and for medically underserved populations or Native Americans. This program seeks to evaluate, develop, and, as appropriate, expand the use of technology-enabled collaborative learning and capacity building models for health care providers and other professionals to improve retention of health care providers and increase access to health care services.

DOE: Water Power Innovation Network

Description: This FOA seeks applications for new and/or expanded water power incubation or accelerator programs to address the commercialization needs of entrepreneurs and small businesses in marine energy and/or hydropower. The strategic goals of this FOA are to: 1) Foster business creation, innovation, and competition in the water power field; 2) Increase the diversity of people, perspectives, and ideas in water power; and 3) Ease commercialization pathways for water power entrepreneurs and small businesses to accelerate the commercialization of water power systems and solutions.
