Advising Update

Seeking International Studies Student Ambassadors!

We are seeking International Studies Student Ambassadors for Fall 22! IS ambassadors will help promote International Studies as a major and minor to current and prospective UI students. Being an IS Student Ambassador is an exciting volunteer opportunity where you will get to showcase your passion for international issues and global connections while enhancing your leadership skills.

Ambassadors will participate in a minimum of 10 hours of recruitment activities in the Fall semester: choose from a variety of activities that fit your schedule such as representing IS at a table at Hawkeye Visit days,  participating in student panels, interviewing  IS alumni and current students for spotlights, creating social media content, speaking to IS classes, etc.

This ambassador program is in coordination with the World Language Ambassadors. An email with further information and application information was sent this week. Applications are due on July 24th. Contact meredith-gall@uiowa.edu with questions.
