Spring 2022 final grades lists are open for editing and submission.

If you have not been instructed by your Primary Instructor or Course Supervisor to submit grades, please disregard this message 

Timeline 

Off-Cycle Courses (do not span the entirety of the semester) 

  • Grades lists are open for entry and submission 14 calendar days prior to the course end date.  
  • Grades are due 10 calendar days from the course end date listed in MAUI. 

View My Final Grades Deadlines 

Wednesday, May 4  

  • Grade processing is paused  
  • Final grades lists are open for editing (full semester-length courses).  

Tuesday, May 17  

  • Deadline to submit grades to DEO for review (full semester-length courses).  

Wednesday, May 18  

  • 4:59 p.m. - DEO (Department Executive Officer) Approval Deadline.  
  • 5:00 p.m. - Final Grades and End of Session Processing.  

Thursday, May 19 

  • Summer 2022 Prerequisite Drop Date- UI Coursework.  
  • Grades are available on official records.  
  • GPAs (Grade Point Average) updated.  
  • Academic Standing notations added. 

Additional Information

Calculating Grades in ICON

When calculating grades in ICON, be sure that assignment group weights are correct and the scores for missing assignments are set to zero.  

NOTE: View and register for upcoming ICON gradebook training sessions  

Attendance required for AUU, F, N, U, W grades

Attendance status must be entered when reporting non-passing grades. Please select one of the following, "Never Attended," "Stopped Attending," or "Completed Course." When the status “Stopped Attending” is entered, to the best of your ability, determine the last date of academic engagement. 

Summer 2022 Prerequisite Drop Date- UI Coursework

Prerequisites are enforced for undergraduate students. If a student receives an Incomplete (I) for a course or a grade is not submitted, the student will be removed from their summer 2022 course requiring the prerequisite course.
