The University of Iowa internal competition is now open for the Iowa Space Grant Consortium Base Program opportunity (BP). The BP leverages existing faculty expertise in establishing NASA and ISGC aligned research programs. The BP emphasizes faculty support (financially and assisting to make connections with NASA) in establishing NASA-centric research training of professionals for careers in STEM. The goal for each BP is to grow a self-sustaining NASA-related research portfolio.
