If you work on the west side of campus and use the VA bus loop on Newtown Road, be prepared to use one of the temporary bus stops near the Dental Science Building or the Medical Education Research Facility starting Sunday. The VA bus loop will be closed during the next phase of the new road construction, which will connect Newton Road to the fountain entrance of the hospital.

Washington, Linn streets closed Friday for Rock the Chalk festival
If you work in or near downtown, be aware that some streets will be closed Friday for the annual Rock the Chalk festival. From 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday, Aug. 9, Washington Street will be closed from Clinton Street to Linn Street, and Linn Street will be closed from Iowa Avenue to College Street. Dubuque Street from Iowa Avenue to Washington Street remains closed for construction.
