Staff Council President Helps Plan for the Future
Heather Mineart, Staff Council President, has been appointed as a liaison officer to the UI Critical Incident Management Team (CIMT), along with the other shared governance leaders. In accordance with National Incident Management System (NIMS), the CIMT is responsible for managing and directing the activities of the various departments that will be involved in crisis incident response and recovery. Campus Climate Survey and Working at Iowa
The University of Iowa strives to create and maintain a positive working environment for employees and students. Yashwant Prakash Vyas who is the Assistant Director of Diversity Resources in the Division of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion was awarded the 2020 Edward S. Blankenship Outstanding Staff Award from Phi Beta Delta Honor Society for International Scholars. More information on Yashwant's accomplishment is included in a recent Iowa Now article.
