The Simons Foundation has a range of opportunities to support mathematical and physical sciences, life sciences, neuroscience, and autism research.

The Simons Foundation has funding opportunities for post-docs, graduate students, and early career faculty. Most request for applications requires a letter of intent.

The NIH issues the Alzheimer's Drug-Development Program.

This Notice of Funding Opportunity invites applications proposing pre-clinical and early stage clinical (Phase I) development of novel small-molecule and biologic drug candidates that aim to prevent Alzheimer's disease, slow its progression, or treat its cognitive and behavioral symptoms.

HRSA: Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program (RWHAP) Access, Care, and Engagement Technical Assistance Center (ACE TA)

Description: This cooperative agreement will maintain and strengthen the ACE TA Center to build the capacity of RWHAP recipients and subrecipients to ensure people with HIV understand and use the range of health care coverage options available to facilitate access to and maintain engagement in care.

NEA: Grants for Arts Projects or Challenge America

Description: Grants for Arts Projects (GAP) provides funding for public engagement with the arts and arts education, for the integration of the arts with strategies promoting the health and well-being of people and communities, and for the improvement of overall capacity and capabilities within the arts sector. 
Challenge America offers support for projects that extend the reach of the arts to underserved groups/communities. The term “underserved,” as defined by the NEA’s legislation and agency policy, refers to those whose opportunities to experience the arts are limited relative to geography, ethnicity, economic status, or disability.

Reminder: NSF: Innovations in Graduate Education (IGE)

Description: The Innovations in Graduate Education (IGE) Program is designed to encourage development and implementation of bold, new, and potentially transformative approaches to STEM graduate education training. The program seeks proposals that a) explore ways for graduate students in STEM master's and doctoral degree programs to develop the skills, knowledge, and competencies needed to pursue a range of STEM careers, or b) support research on the graduate education system and outcomes of systemic interventions and policies.

Reminder: NSF: Scholarships in STEM Network (S-STEM-Net): S-STEM Research Hubs

Description: Through this solicitation, NSF seeks to foster a network of S-STEM stakeholders and further develop the infrastructure needed to generate and disseminate new knowledge, successful practices and effective design principles arising from NSF S-STEM projects nationwide. The ultimate vision of the legislation governing the S-STEM parent program (and of the current S-STEM-Net solicitation) is that all Americans, regardless of economic status, should be able to contribute to the American innovation economy if they so desire.
