UI ‘Cancer in Iowa’ report highlights cancer survivor needs

The 2025 Cancer in Iowa report, issued by the Iowa Cancer Registry and produced by the UI College of Public Health, shows more Iowans are surviving cancer than ever before, with nearly 172,000 cancer survivors residing in the state. The report states that this population has unique needs that require specialized care from health care providers and communities, and research being done on campus is working to improve needed care.

UI again named Top Producing Institution of Fulbright U.S. students
