As we wrap up the year, it’s a great time to pause and reflect on our well-being. Consider the steps you’ve taken, the challenges you’ve faced, and the growth you’ve achieved. liveWELL is here for you, no matter where you are on your well-being journey.
| | | Team up with your University of Iowa coworkers and participate in Live Healthy Iowa's annual 10 Week Wellness Challenge! Over the course of the challenge, you will track your weekly physical activity minutes and compete against teams across the state while improving your health. liveWELL is covering the registration fee for all University of Iowa employees that register for the 2025 challenge. | | The Diabetes Prevention Program is a year-long commitment beginning in February 2025. It is designed for individuals interested in strategies to eat healthier, become more active and reduce the risk of type 2 diabetes. Employees must meet with a health coach to receive a referral. Registration closes Thursday, February 13, 2025. | | | The Well-Being Resource Library is a one-stop shop for resources to help you build and maintain healthy habits across various well-being categories. Visit the pages to learn wellness tips, explore resources, and watch videos. | | Martin Gallardo organized a series of fun, accessible challenges throughout the summer and fall to help improve well-being within the Nursing Clinical Education Center. He earned a Wellness Hero award due to the success of the Office Olympics and the joy his colleagues experienced while participating in the games. | | | University of Iowa regular employees in a 50% or greater appointment are eligible for free health coaching. Health coaches empower employees to make sustainable lifestyle changes that enhance their overall well-being. Work with a health coach to:
