The University of Iowa Honorary Degree Selection Committee is seeking nominations for the 2024-2025 academic year. These prestigious awards may be conferred upon individuals who have demonstrated extraordinary achievements in any of the following areas: scholarship, education, artistic creation, social activism, human rights, innovation or invention beneficial to society, and/or humanitarian outreach.
Nominations where philanthropy or the possibility of future endowments are the main focus will not be considered. Please note: this award is not conferred posthumously.
