Updated Process for Employees with Symptoms of a Respiratory Illness

Changes were recently announced in Noon News regarding the notification requirements for staff experiencing respiratory illness symptoms. Staff are now no longer required to notify the University Employee Health Clinic (UEHC) if they are experiencing symptoms or have tested positive for COVID-19. Staff should follow the normal process for notifying their supervisor as they would with any other illness. If a staff member has tested positive, the 5-day isolation requirements still apply.

Additionally, staff wishing to schedule a COVID-19 test will no longer be able to do so through UEHC. However, staff can continue to use the MyChart Self-Checker to schedule any necessary testing. You can find more information in the updated FAQs on The Loop.
