Campus Conversation Partners Spring Registration

Spring registration is now open for our campus-wide international conversation partner program.

  • Campus Conversation Partners (CCP) is devoted to building lasting relationships between speakers of English as an additional language (EAL) and proficient English-speaking faculty/staff at the UI.
  • International students, staff, and scholars seek opportunities to share their cultures with others, learn about U.S. culture, and meet members of the UI community.
  • As a conversation partner, you will not only learn about other experiences, cultures and traditions, but you will also help someone feel at home in our community and grow more confident in using English.
  • All it takes is an hour a week of informal conversation!

More information and a short application are available online here. If you are ready and able to commit an hour per week to make a new connection, apply today!
