Iowa Intersections is a community-based multilingual narrative project developed in the Center for Language and Culture Learning and with the support of UNESCO City of Literature. The goal of this project is to collect, share, and uplift stories about the cultural and linguistic diversity of the Iowa City area.

Starting May 15th, the CLCL will be implementing our summer hours, which go from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. We will be working on our own projects (listed above), but feel free to e-mail us!

Boundless VII Launch

The Translate Iowa Project's Boundless VII launch event is set to take place on Thursday, April 27th from 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm at the CLCL. The event is set to celebrate the creativity, linguistic diversity, and ingenuity of their translator and faculty member teams that helped stich together their latest issue. Additionally, they will feature various translators and submitters reading their work. They are excited to celebrate the seventh issue of Boundless and share all the wonderful work with the University of Iowa and Iowa City community! Attendance can be both in-person and virtual. Come for the fifth and final installment of the Russian Program Film Festival! On Saturday, April 29th, they'll be hosting a screening of Brothers Karamazov at 11:00 am in VAB E 125.

At the Stanley Museum of Art will be held Wide Lens: Memory, a panel of six scholar-artists reflecting on memory from the perspective of various disciplines.
