Advising Information

  • Spring 2025 and Winter 2024 registration is ongoing. If you haven't already, schedule an appointment to meet with your advisor to discuss your spring courses and receive authorization before your registration date.

  • Pro Tip: Already registered for Spring 2025? Run an updated degree audit and make sure that your spring courses are fulfilling requirements for your degree. If a course is not showing up in the degree audit to meet a requirement as you expected, email your advisor to check on it.

  • Deadline to drop a semester-long course with a W is next TODAY November 18th. Please initiate the drop in MyUI and then email your advisor for approval. Then you need to complete the drop in MyUI.  After completing the drop, please make sure to double check that the course is no longer in your fall 2024 schedule. If it is still there, you haven't completed all necessary steps. More info here.

  • Deadlines to drop courses that don’t meet for the entire semester have different deadlines. Click here to find the exact deadline for your course.
